Community Youth Orchestras and Bands for Music Students
Students can get extra credit by joining one of these groups in the Fall. All of the information that we can find is listed here!! If you would like suggestions or help with information and/or the audition, please see us or call directly to the numbers listed below.
Any interested students need to start preparing now for the groups that have auditions that will be in September. All State and All Southern will have auditions in December. District Honor group info will be passed out in late Nov. or early Dec. and the auditions are in January.
These groups meet once a week during the school year and perform about 3 concerts.

- Order the required music early. (Try one of the links to a Sheet Music Store found on our Music Links Page.)
- Start Practicing the Required Scales & Pieces as early as you can!
- Ask for help or get private lessons when you can. (The extra input can really lead you in the right direction.)
- Make sure to send in any application and/or other materials early or on time.
